Busselton Coast is located 180 km south of Perth with a Mediterranean climate. It has low relief land, natural vegetation forest and some woodlands/sedgelands. Landuse includes State Forest, some dairy and beef.
The Busselton Coast Basin (610) ARCE was moderately modified and the ARCB was in reference condition. The basin condition was non-assessed by the hydrological disturbance index, moderately modified based on the catchment disturbance index, largely unmodified based on the habitat index and substantially modified based on the nutrient and suspended load index.
